Regarding the results of the study on compliance with anti-tobacco legislation:
The Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine informs that in 2024, a study was conducted to assess compliance with anti-tobacco legislation in the specified regions. Monitoring was carried out in food service establishments, healthcare and educational institutions, children's playgrounds, public transport stops, railway stations, as well as at points of sale of tobacco and nicotine products.
The results of the study indicate systematic violations across all types of sites: smoking in prohibited places, the absence of warning information, the sale of cigarettes and liquids for electronic cigarettes containing flavoring additives, as well as cases of illegal trade.
Violations in healthcare and educational institutions, as well as at children's playgrounds, are of particular concern. The Center emphasizes the importance of disseminating the analytical report among structural units and implementing tobacco control measures.
